What is a Framework, and do I need one?
A development framework is a tool that allows developers to re-use common elements of website design, it provides value-for-money by ensuring that your developers won't waste their precious time re-writing those components that have been done many times before but work on what makes your site unique.
One of the most significant questions to ask any development company during the assessment process, is what kind of the development framework they use. If the answer is 'none', or even worse, 'any that you need', you will find that you are missing out on expert skills through deep experience. Most customers have no need to make decisions on what framework they use, leaving it to the development company.
